The Warm Mineral Springs are the only natural warm spring in the state of Florida. It sits at roughly 85 degrees year-round and is rumored to have one of the highest mineral waters of any spring in the U.S which causes it to have powerful healing properties. It’s no wonder the Spring attracts more than 10,000 visitors on an annual basis.
The Springs and surrounding buildings are listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. This is due to evidence of prehistoric man, giant sloths, and saber-toothed tigers that can be dated back over 10,000 years. The buildings were created by architect Jack West to celebrate Florida’s Quadricentennial.
The spa offers various massages that include, but are not limited to, Hot Stone, Swedish, and Deep Tissue. They also offer facials, skincare services, and waxing.
Some important rules to remember include children 10 years and younger must stay in the children's area. Ages 17 and up are the only ones permitted to swim in the middle. No toys, food, or drinks are permitted in the water. No one is allowed to take water from the spring and smoking is strictly prohibited. No pets are allowed unless they are service dogs that comply with health regulations. Chairs and lounges are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
