Peace River Botanical and Sculpture Gardens

Peace River Botanical and Sculpture Gardens is 27 acres of former uplands and wetlands turned into botanical gardens with world-class sculptures and an art gallery. The Gardens integrate Florida’s natural habitat, featured botanical collections, architectural ingenuity and contemporary interpretative art to offer one of the largest botanical and sculpture gardens in the State of Florida.

The Gardens also offers many educational opportunities including summer camps and field trips for learners of all ages. Two of the most stand out educational opportunities are the Junior Explorer's Backpack Program and the butterfly house. The Junior Explorer's Backpack Program offers learning kits filled with binoculars, microscopes, art supplies, mindfulness activities and even a scavenger hunt! The butterfly house has both an indoor and an outdoor butterfly garden. Gain inspiration for your own butterfly garden, speak with the knowledgeable volunteers, and even purchase plants to take home in the nursery.
