At Celery Fields you can find yourself getting in touch with nature down to its bare roots. This beautifully preserved landscape hosts many wildlife viewing opportunities. The Fields are split into four different sections; the North Cell, Central Cell, South Cell, and the Walking Tract.
Inside the Central Cell, there are 2 scenic unpaved trails. The Upper Bob-O-Link trail is 0.84 miles and the Upper Raptor Trail is 0.81 miles. Both trails are unpaved. Also located inside the Central Cell is the Nature Center. It is here that wildlife personnel can inform you of native plants and animals. Bird watchers particularly love this spot, as the boardwalks provide a great lookout for unique species. Parking is also located at the Central Cell.
The South Cell offers 2 scenic overlooks that are intentionally placed in the best places of the park itself. They give you a vantage point that allows visitors to take in all of the beautiful local landscape. The South Cell also offers an Osprey Platform, so that when Spring arrives guests can experience Osprey and how they nest.
If you’re looking for a peaceful day in nature, then Celery Fields is perfect for you. In total there are 5 lakes and 2 rivers within the park. Fishing and picnicking are welcome. Restrooms and benches are located throughout the park. It is also dog-friendly as long as your pet is leashed and waste is properly disposed of.
