Big ARTS Sanibel
In 1978, a group of local artisans sparked the idea of Big ARTS, and the idea continues to grow! The vision of Big ARTS is “to create great arts, entertainment and learning experiences that always inspire, enrich and delight.”
Big ARTS offers something artistic for everyone: art gallery exhibits, dance recitals, educational lectures, film showings and discussion, music performances, workshops to learn something artistic, and more! For their annual fundraiser, Big ARTS will be featuring a performance by a group called “The Bronx Wanderers.” (The website compares their musical performance to “The Jersey Boys”.)
Big ARTs always appreciate financial assistance through attendance to fundraisers, donations, and supporters, and they are currently looking for volunteers to help carry out their vision. Please check their website for cost of programs and workshops. There is also a gift shop featuring beautiful works of art, jewelry, and other items created by artisans.
