 Sarasota Art Museum
Sarasota Art Museum has 15,000 square feet of exhibition space, a bistro, shop, auditorium, sculpture courtyard, and performance & film events. You’ll gain first-hand knowledge of modern contemporary art and culture. Starting with a group of 13 Sarasotans with one goal in mind; transform the historic Sarasota High School into the art museum and education center we have today. It is named the region's first museum dedicated to contemporary art. The museum features artists that bring light to cultural issues and upcoming modern artists.

Every Friday they offer a guided tour. The museum has accessibility options such as elevators, ramps, and wheelchairs. They also have ASL interpreters on staff. Service animals are welcome as well.

P-12 school tours are available and groups of 10 or more for special events. They must be scheduled in advance with the Visitor Experience Team. Additionally, they host artist's talks, Jazz Thursdays, and Free Second Sundays for contemporary dance shows. Outside they have sculptures and more in the Museum’s Marcy & Michael Klein Plaza and the Great Lawn.

Join Chef Kaytlin Dangaran at the Bistro for local, healthy, and artisanal foods. The Bistros menu has been inspired by regional fruit stands and farmers. Catering options are available.
