Ostego Bay Foundation Marine Science Center
The Ostego Bay Foundation Marine Science Center allows you to learn about the unique ecology of the barrier islands and estuary ecosystems of Southwest Florida. They provide a marine science experience through interactive exhibits, aquariums, touch tanks, and one-of-a-kind collections
The Marine Science Center is suitable for all ages, and even offers educational adventures for all and summer camps for youth. The educational adventures include walking waterfront tours, the ability to watch animal feeding times, the opportunity to touch a stingray, and learning about how sea turtles hatch. They even offer "Museum in a Suitcase" presentations, where their staff visit and talk to classrooms in the area. There is so much to do at the Marine Science Center, it would be hard to do it all in just one trip!
The Science Center also offers the ability to have your birthday party held on site. They create a fun environment for the individual to learn and explore the local marine wildlife on their special day.
