Crowley Museum and Nature Center

 Crowley Museum and Nature Center
Crowley Museum and Nature Center embodies the old world of Florida. Pioneer cabins, blacksmith shops, and a sugar cane mill are carefully preserved for visitors and guests to discover. Alongside a decorated museum of artifacts found and exhibited to help visitors imagine the world our ancestors lived in.

Crowley has also designed a nature center with a 3/8 mile long trail that offers hands-on learning stations for the younger children. Your kids can discover the animals, birds, and insects native to the Sunshine State.

Group activities include children's safety in outdoor settings, survival training, a day on the farm, a day as a pioneer, and many more. These group activities are offered for younger kids and adults alike!

And when you think you've seen it all, a half-mile boardwalk allows for a stroll through Florida habitats such as Maple Branch Swamps and Tatum Sawgrass Marshes. At the end of the journey, enjoy sightseeing in the observatory overlooking the Myakka River.
